Don’t forget to renew your membership!

It is time to renew the alumni membership for the 2016 -2017 year. The membership year is from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017. The local alumni membership person will need to go to FFA.org and login to update the membership and send it on to the state. Both National FFA Alumni and Colorado FFA Alumni are affiliated. What that means is that for $100.00 fee for National FFA Alumni and $100.00 fee for Colorado FFA Alumni you can have as many members you want on your roster at no addition cost. With your membership being current your local alumni is under the National FFA Organization’s 501.3c. If you have any questions please contact William Carlson at wcarlson06@gmail.com.

The alumni chapters need to have the membership in to William Carlson by April 20, so we can have a current count of alumni chapters for the delegate count and be able to apply for awards and grants from the National FFA Alumni.

Tax Season is Here

It is tax season again. Remember to file your chapters information with the IRS within 4 ½ months of the end of your chapter’s tax year. Most FFA Alumni Chapters qualify to fill out a 990-N e-postcard on IRS.gov
